Khami Ruins
Is located 22km West of Bulawayo. Khami grew between 1450 and 1650, after the abondonement of Great Zimbabwe. It has the same layout in certain Sectors. Imported goods like Ming Porcelain and Spanish silverware were found, which implies there was wide range of trading.
Dhlo-Dhlo Dhlo-Dhlo (also Ndlo Dlo or Danamombe) is a Zimbabwean archaeological site, about eighty kilometres from Gweru, on the road to Bulawayo. It consists of stone ruins dating from the 17th or 18th centuries CE. Dhlo-Dhlo (together with Khami and Nalatale) was one of the centres of the Rozvi kings, who had succeeded the Torwa, and who were in turn supplanted by the Nguni in the 19th century.
