Hwange Colliery Company Limited Formerly known as Wankie Colliery Company Limited. The Company's principal activity is extracting, processing and distributing coal in Southern Africa. The Company has opencast and underground mining operations confined mainly to the Dragline South Pit in the region of Hwange. The Coal products include fines, duff, peas, nuts, small cobbles, large cobbles, rounds and nut pea duff.
